Helsinki departure and arrival in Iceland

Saying goodbye to our home the last three weeks and our beloved bus driver,
Jussi.
See ya! You were the best bus driver ever!
At the drop-off at the Helsinki airport we took the opportunity to make a
special presentation of a few Pittsburgh mementos to show our gratitude to the
amazing Jussi.
Straight from the airport we went to the Blue Lagoon. The water is a milky
blue color from the minerals dissolved in it and about 39 degrees Celsius
(around 100 Fahrenheit) because of the volcanic activity in Iceland. We don't
have many good pictures because we were too busy having fun. We can tell you
though, that there was a photo-shoot going on for a modeling contest and
two of the band members of Metallica were there relaxing before their concert here tomorrow night which made
our experience all the more interesting.
Our makeshift clothesline.

The ladies sleeping arrangements for the night.

The guys sleeping arrangements. How come they get a couch?!
Chip attempting to say Hreinn's name. Hreinn is showing him how to spell
it on his cell phone.
A mural in the chapel where the girls are sleeping. It was painted by
some of the guys in the church's youth group.
The elaborate stained glass window in the sanctuary of the church where we are
staying and playing.
